I love the approach Hilary Mantel has to the art of writing Historical Fiction. We both put ourselves into the souls of the characters we write about. The most important thing is to remember that you and I are no different from the people of long ago. The only difference between you and those that have gone before - technology.
The main character in my novels is Cristian Gilleson. He often finds himself in mortal danger. He has disputes with King Edward and many others at court. In this video, he is alone in the crypt at Westminster Abbey
